I think you're probably right that you didn't attack the war records Swiftboat veterans -- I really don't feel like going back through your posts -- and at any rate, it's a side issue to the main issue -- you called them liars, said they lied about what they say they saw.

Nevertheless, Kerry has retracted his allegations that the men he served with in Vietnam committed atrocities. He said he did not personally witness any atrocities and that his statements were the statements of "an angry young man" and were "over the top."

Which means, well to me, it means he admitted that he was giving false testimony under oath.

And that means that he admitted that his fellow Swiftboat vets were telling the truth when they say they did not participate in atrocities.

Too bad he doesn't have the decency to apologize directly to them.

No wonder he's become such a pariah.

I wonder why you're still arguing that what he said is true when he's retracted it?

Maybe you saw or participated in atrocities, but Kerry did not, and yet he pretended, for a very long time, that he did. Got a lot of political mileage out of those lies.
