Here is the cdc website about hpv: cdc.gov Seems like every other day now I hear or see something about the big bad pharma companies. Political correctness tells us that they are evil because they are big corporations ==> bad and they are drug companies ==> bad. They are bad squared. They are easily the biggest pinata around, other than the government (big and stupid) and walmart (big and big). Every Tom, Dick, and Mary feels freely to put the stick to it. And when the govt and pharma gets together, bad cubed. Generations are being raised knowing their badness. Which is a lovely attitude to go alone with the "not my problem" mindset. I am bothered by this bashing reflex. I am not saying you are acting by reflex but I see it in the article quoted. This vaccination issue is complicated and has at least 2 sides. The same arguments that someone can make for or against this vaccine someone can make re: a bunch of other vaccines. It ain't all one sided. Companies try to make money, govt tries to make rules, cats hunt, dogs bark, people b*tch. Some people don't like any of it but that don't make them automatically right.
