Liar. Those are phony quotes, words taken out of context or quotes from 14 years ago or more. That was just around the time Reagan was shot. There was a lot of uproar then. Leading the fight to register handguns was Reagan's own press secretary Jim Brady, a Republican. Not a single dem wants to take away any non-military guns. That's a fact. From smear jockey propaganda central, huh? I'll bet every single one of them is at least taken out of context to provide a false sense of alarm amongst ignorant rednecks who think democrats want to take away their hunting rifles. A "ban" on what? The quotes don't say. A ban on assault rifles or machine-guns in citizen hands? You bet we need that. And the Police agree. Here are the real issues. Background checks at gun shows where they try to get away with selling machine-guns under the table, where crooks can get ahold of powerful weapons without permits.
