I have no idea what you are talking about. I was merely addressing the fact that all issues can be covered without identifying a specific thread or poster. There was no more to it than that. I simply think it is more polite to leave the identity of the thread or poster out of it.

I generally agree with you. Being polite is very important.

But on some of these political discussion threads, all the polite people get "swift boated". They turn everything around. Black becomes white and white becomes red - if you are lucky that they could even be that consistent. Truth is tuned upside down and sometimes you get to wonder about your own sanity. I think if you can openly discuss that aspect of it, you do not let lies go unopposed. It is important that some things get straightened out even if some people find it uncomfortable. Sort of an inconvenient truth.
