This really amazed me: According to experienced analyst Hiroshige Goto the price of the top end Conroe (E6800) will drop 70%-75% in Q3 (from $1036 now) to a $240-$320 range due to renewed competition. The part will stay the highest frequency part for at least half a year. It drops from the "Extreme" segment to somewhere in the middle of the "Mainstream" segment. The higher segments are all QC where Barcelona seems to compete at all levels. Interesting times... Regards, Hans
