I'm really starting to have second thoughts about my decision. I told the doc yesterday I wanted "mono", or one eye for distance and the other for reading, as I didn't think I wanted to mess with reading glasses anymore.

However, most of this morning I've attempted to see my newspaper and this computer monitor with my left eye only. That just isn't working well enough for me to commit to the idea. I think I'll call them back and have both eyes corrected for 20-20 distance and just bite the bullet and continue with my readers. I'm certainly used to them as I've had readers for some 20+ years.

I have a couple of days to finalize this but obviously want to make a wise decision here.
