I'm not a wild eyed bull. I can be bullish and bearish on different things at the same time. I'm trying to catch the right side of individual stock moves. To me, that requires a mixture of fundamentals, technicals and sentiment.

Polaris has been underperforming for some time. The market thinks the bottom is in and has run it up trying to get ahead of the next cycle. Trouble is, we are nowhere near the beginning of the next cycle because we're still in the borrow and spend mode.

Paying the piper for all of this borrow and spend will take a long time to work out.

Polaris is the kind of stock I like to short. Deteriorating fundamentals, downsloping chart and recent optimism.

OT, Ted Kacyzinsky (the Unibomber) had a little trick for snowmobilers who ran by his cabin in Montana. He strung up fishing string with hooks every few inches that would catch the rider in the neck with hooks.

I don't recommend you try that, but it's a thought.
