You asked me if I considered the name calling (Pigs and Apes) behavior as bigotry . I answered Yes that it is.
I also offered you an explanation of how bigot's sometimes justify their conduct by finding bigots in the target population. I also added an illustration to show how bigotry against Irish not to long ago was in part founded on how the religion was deemed bad by the dominate prejudiced group … I figured you also know there was a great deal more said about what the Irish were like as a group to justify their persecution.
You asked me to show where you had called anyone names. I had not 'claimed' name calling on your part. But I responded by trying to help you review your behavior as it does qualify as bigotry. I have offered you rich and detailed explanations of how I view bigotry and yours in particular. I don't actually believe you need that because I saw how quickly you pointed out the flaw when someone attempted to use one of your tactics (using an anomaly to characterize a whole culture). If you weren't an expert on bigotry before, the descriptions I have given you make you one now. It's not that complicated.
I have substantiated my claims that you are practicing an extreme form of bigotry at length and in detail. So, when you accused me of never substantiating my claims, you closed the train of thought by lying about my conduct. I have left some things out but I don't feel like writing a book on your case and I am sure you will give me more opportunities to add substance in the future.
A little personal honesty on your own part might help because I admit that some of your comments make me wonder if you believe your own press, like this one:

It contains an internal contradiction. This actually makes sense to me. You distinguished Muslims from 'each person separately'. In order for extreme bigotry to be internalized you must objectify the target. In other words they are not persons like you and I. They have to be something else, like injuns, gooks, nips, gerrys, micks, wapps, chinks, rag heads or whatever ... terms for things not persons. Your thread is full of non-human objectifications and other attempts to put Muslims out side of acceptable personhood. Then you figure the usual respect for humanity doesn't apply. Where you don't personally promote that, you host and bolster others who do. |
