This is the kind of story we need to watch for. It can't help QEMM97.However, it won't hurt badly as nobody buys QEMM97 for loading alone.

According to Intel [NASDAQ:INTC], applications will load as much as
three times faster in Microsoft's [NASDAQ:MSFT] Windows 98 due to Intel
technology called Application Launch Accelerator, which will ship as
part of Windows 98 in a future beta version. Microsoft also announced
completion of Advanced Streaming Format (ASF), a file format for
streaming media.
