Well, that is a characterization by someone with a stake in it. My guess, however, that in this particular case it's reasonably accurate.

As I understood the general trial process, the case looks bleakest for the defendant at the end of the prosecution's case. We'll see if Wells, who is reputed to be quite good at what he does, has a defense.
