I wonder what this looks like historically?

In 1960 gold was $35 and the budget was 90 billion.

Since then gold has gone up 18x and the budget has gone up 32x. To catch up gold would only have to hit 1120 and that doesn't factor in all the gold mined between 1960 and now.

Any clues as to what percentage of the 150k tons of gold ever mined was mined in the last 50 years?
