Of course, this wasn't entirely unpredictable... we've been warned over and over that corn-based ethanol was extremely inefficient. We're only using corn because it makes corn farmers happy.

NRO blames it on government in general, but it's THIS government that doesn't ever, ever, properly foresee, or plan for, consequences and their contingencies.
