Velcade is an important drug for the treatment of myeloma. While it is true that Celgene's Revlimid may be a preferred choice for
more patients because it is oral, it is not a cure.

I am a myeloma patient and am very active in the patient
community. Both drugs are important and will continue to
be used for years to come. In fact a new clinical trial
using Velcade and Revlimid in combination is recruiting
patients.
