Many school districts are looking at 50% turn over, every year. That's no way to run a successful business. Experience counts; training costs. It takes 10 years to replace an employee with 10 years experience. Schools are not competing for teachers, they are competing for people. People that can work in the private or public sector. If 50% leave, they are obviously not competing. You get what you pay for... These Republican fanatics that think a CEO that "earns" $250 million for failing is OK and won't pay a living wage to the teacher of their kids are nuts.
