Buying a building near the Gold exchange is brilliant. Best of luck with that. Only thing to watch out for would be a movement of the exchange out to some suburban high security "campus" for physical exchange and the rest of it going electronic. I ate in a nice resturant in Paris across from the old Bourse (stock exchange) The old trading floor is used by rollerbladers now. It was relatively easy to get reservations on a week night, that would not have been true when there were live traders. Sounds like you may hire Austin Power's decorator ;-) "rotating bed surrounded by mirrors"
