Israel didn't control the areas where the refugee camps are located when they where set up. Arab nations did, and the Arab nations kept them in camps. There where also quite a few Jewish refugees, from Arab nations, but Israel didn't keep them in refugee camps.

The Palestinians were forced into refugee camps because Israel would not allow them to come back into Israel after the 1948 war. They did that to get the Israeli/Arab ratio more in balance.

And sure Israel isn't innocent. Its not a battle of perfect angels against depraved demons. And yes many Palestinians have it tough, but that doesn't mean they shouldn't be blamed for their acts of terrorism.

I didn't say they are not to blame but where are we in terms of the chicken and the egg.
