UAE residents 'are satisfied'

Dubai: Men and women in the UAE are the most sexually satisfied in the Middle East despite having the lowest number of intimate contacts in a month, according to a recent global sex survey.
The Global Better Sex Survey, conducted last year on 12,500 men and women from 27 countries, found that sex satisfaction among UAE residents was the highest in the region at 62 per cent with women and 40 per cent with men, close to the global average.
UAE men and women reported the lowest frequency of intercourse, less than once a week, at 3.6 times a month.
The findings of the study, which was commissioned by Pfizer, were released in Nov-ember last year.
The study shows that frequency and sexual satisfaction were not related as many thought, Dr Rosie King, a sexual health physician involved in the survey, told Gulf News.
