I think the estimate from the CIA World facts site says there are about 1% of the US population who are Muslim. If we have a 300,000,000 population, then that means we have about 3,000,000 people who are Muslim. If only 1/2 of a percent of this group are Islamists, that's still LOTS of potential for trouble here in the US. Most especially, when we consider how few it took to cause 9-11.
And don't forget Neeka, this has been going on at least since 1979, when terrorists captured 50+ US citizens who were in the Iranian Embassy, and held them for 444+ days...Don't forget all the other barbaric acts they have done, not only on 9-11, but WTC I, the 2 bombed Embassy's, the Marine Kohbar Towers, the USS Cole....etc etc.
Don't think that just because it's been 5 years that the murdering barbarians have forgotten everything they have been on the loudspeakers for many years now telling the world how they will destroy America, Christians and Jews.
If you think it's hard for them to implement, just drive to Seattle, and take a look around at all the Port transportation facilities, the ships, the locks, the fuel storage facilities around the area, and all the etcs.......... We are in Seattle a lot, and both of us marvel that it really is a miracle that we haven't been hit. There is NO way we could put a guard everyplace we need them. We simply have to have our citizens be alert to potential problems, and report it if we think something is wrong. |
