economies that depend on the consumer needs purchase power to be created for those economies to keep going.
They don't need to build roads, channels, airport, bridges and other infra. The only way to move those economies is to have consumers with purchase power.
Thus no USD collapse in sight.

A Mexicano cross the border into the US is within an economy that creates the purchase power of the consumer. That's why he goes there.

Mexico is not a consumer society. The purchase power is held closely by the elite. Hence poor people is the result.

Brazil, according to Klaser, is changing this model. That because the elite has nothitng to milk anymore. The only way is to accelerate growth.

Growth in places like Brazil an Mexico is not necessary. That because the historical growth of the economy has been always enough to feed the elite.

My theory is that Mexico without the oil will spiral dwon and the elite will need to put growth into motion.
