1947 - India Pakistan partition time
1962 - India vs China
1965 - India vs Pakistan
1971 - India vs Pakistan (led to creation of Bangladesh)
1999 - India vs Pakistan (politely called Kargill skirmish)

were small wars, you are mistaken.

America did not have any role in peace during these wars.
