Hi EC, I see you recommend olive oil over other vegetable oils. The big advantage of olive oil is it's low in saturated fats and high in the good fats such as omega fatty acids. That information was made widely known thanks to an excellent information campaign by the International Olive Oil Council. As good as olive oil is, it's not the best. Canola oil actually has a healthier dietary fat profile than olive oil. Both oils are also a good source of vitamin E. I know pointing you to the Canola Council's web site doesn't make the information look impartial but they do have a long list of references to articles in medical journals from different countries. My goal here is to pass on info I believe to be true and not simply pushing my product for personal profit. (Bio-diesel should take care of that. Turns out what's best for your heart is also great for your diesel engine.) Also, I may have an ulterior motive in keeping EC alive as long as possible since I am a shareholder of his Wildcat Res. (Whatever happened to that and what is Kingfisher Res?)
