Yea, now use the Total Return Index since the Dow pays dividends then subtract the cost of owning and storing gold since it pays nothing.

Also, adjust for volatility and the many heart attacks you can get for holding gold which has multiple times the vol. Ever heard of portfolio management? Sharpe Ratios?

I'd fire you if you brought that shit to me.
