Elroy, the point is not what is the world going to do about it. The point is that since the US unilaterally acted outside international law, it now allows China and Russia a "pass" when they attempt to do so. No, it doesn't. World events don't get added to and subtracted from each other. If, for example, in the next 5 years China invades Taiwan, or Nepal, or Mongolia, or wherever, you think they get some magical 'free pass'? That's silly. If the US actually violated any international law, no country ever brought it up for discussion in the Security Council, and no violation has ever been agreed upon, or even alleged by anyone who is still around at the UN.
