He served as chairman of the board of directors and chief executive officer of IVAX Corporation from 1987 to 2006, when it was acquired by Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. He served as president of IVAX Corporation from July 1991 until January 1995. He was the chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami, Miami Beach, Florida from 1972 to 1990. Dr. Frost was chairman of the board of directors of Key Pharmaceuticals, Inc. from 1972 to 1986.
