2/9/07 Update
The Nasdaq Biotech Index and the Charity Contest portfolio median were both down for the week, closing Friday with an almost identical YTD gain. At the week's end, the NBI had a YTD gain of 2.73% (vs. up 3.15% YTD at the prior Friday's close) and the Charity Contest median had a YTD gain of 2.79% (vs. up 3.48% YTD at the prior Friday's close). At Friday's closing bell, 21 of the 31 Contest portfolios were in the black and 16 of the 31 were beating the NBI.
My own portfolio had another good week and held on to first place with a 45.5% YTD gain at Friday's close. STEVEL's portfolio remained in second place with 17.3% YTD gain.
