Agree! What is so disturbing to me is that most people don't realize that.
I really think some of the problem is that we as a Nation, don't know enough about History....both of our Country, but also that of the other Countries in the world.
Couple that with being so PC, that we can't even fathom identifying traits of past terrorists and openly talking about them.
And then, marry those things, with the fact that so many of our younger people under 45, have really never been pressed for anything really serious for any length of time, and therefore, they tend to want everything to happen instantly, and be fixed immediately, just as the video games are.
And the frosting on this particular cake, is that, " goodness gracious,"we should actually civilly discuss what can be done to 'fix the problem', but "who wants to discuss the bad things happening....it's so much easier to hid our heads in the sand.."
Instead, the huge majority of the population would rather pay attention to the soap operas of the day. |
