I have to say that in a country that's 90% plus Christian, I find that a bit unlikely. So unlikely, in fact, I think it's a bit like saying "What if Mc Donalds starts serving Soylent Green?"

In fact, I think Mc Donalds serving Soylent Green is probably quite a bit more likely. Not that I'm going to worry about it.

I can suppose all sorts of unlikely things, but I don't see the point, really. Is there a point to supposing unlikely things? Is it to whip ourselves up in to a frenzy of (what I see as) irrational fear?

There are certainly things to fear, but Sharia law in American courts doesn't strike me as one of those things.
