Elroy, this reminded me of an interesting experience several years ago. I had a small business that catered to alot of Latinos. In an effort to clear up confusion and boost sales I added Spanish to the product signs. Shortly thereafter I was perplexed at the continuing confusion.

Then, one of my employees told me that many of these people come from very rural areas of Mexico and Central America. They speak poor Spanish and can't read Spanish, much less English.

I added pictures to the signs, which helped greatly.
