"this is his whole existence, pro life" A LOT of Republican voters care about nothing else. Others care ONLY about the second amendment. Including the one on this thread with the handle PROLIFE. He WON'T be voting for Rudy, by his own admission. If Rudy gets to the general, he'll attract a LOT of Dem and independent votes, and have an excellent chance. The man is a social liberal and a serial womanizer. He supported Mario Cuomo for governor of New York state. He's a thousand miles from being George W. Bush. He's a Republican Bill Clinton. His biggest hurdle are the Republican social conservatives.
