Tea for Two. Your not a Jazz fan and haven't been educated about the loveliness of improvisation on a basic theme. It's sorta like eating Gefilte Fish and Chopped Liver at Passover--an acquired taste that some never choose to acquire. <g> Though, if you like Johann Sebastian Bach, you could easily learn to enjoy modern jazz. Bebop was influenced by Bela Bartok also. Cudos for giving it a try. There is hope, Iktomi, since you watch more subtitled movies than anyone I know and it's akin to learning to like jazz. I'll keep working on you.
