Well, if it was Iraq's money, which is now gone, that may explain why ever more money is needed from US taxpayers to "fund" the Iraq adventure. Iraq on its own, considering all that has transpired, cannot survive without US financial support. I'm afraid Iraq will be on the US welfare list for years to come in spite of her oil wealth. And that presupposes that Iraq will hold together as one country.
