Or, it could be just what they said -- that without a merger, Sirius is worth less and XM is worth more. Given that it is Sirius, NOT XM, so hot-and-heavy to merge, that sort of makes sense, does it not?

Frankly, I think they're giving SIRI the benefit of the doubt given the mess they've made by hiring Stern for 3/4 billion or more.


FWIW, it's all a chess game right now. Everyone is setting up their position before the earnings using any means available.
There are some that say SIRI would be DOA if it wasn't for Stern.

The earnings war will be interesting. Will Sirius delay now that the date is out for XM? :)
