You reminded me of the days when we kept two German Shepherds. They were wonderful dogs, both fully obedience trained (by me!) and never did their business on my perfectly manicured yard. I had a 30 foot by 12 foot run (a 4' chain link fence) built in the corner of my very over sized yard. We never closed the gate and they had the run of the yard. But, when it came time to poop, they headed for that run. The neighbors couldn't believe there was never a pee stain on the fences or bushes. But, I had to scoop about once a week. Boy, was that stuff heavy! Turning into spring in Denver town, but our air is abominable! The worst I've seen in years and my asthmatic lungs don't get along with it well, at all. I just poured some of my good Scotch on it, which helps. Might need one more dose before bed....
