I see hawks a lot more often than I used to. Maybe they are doing better in Northern VA. Or maybe I just look for them more. A friend lives at Quiver Beach about 60 miles from me and he has about 50 Bald Eagles in his back yard. Well I certainly don't have anything like that. I think I've seen an eagle off in the distance one time, but it was to far away to really be sure.
