Probably is coming up time for news on ggc, quarterly results should be in before too long, plus you'd expect an explo update ... once they've got the mill up at or near capacity, and maybe some nice new holes, they'll have promo ammunition ... there is no particular rush from a company-building point of view, because unlike so many others, they won't have to finance any time soon
Kootenay is just the same as Genco, only starting up during a healthier market than ggc did back four years ago, so they should have less troubles getting financed ... plus, with luck they won't have the feuding issues ggc had between original founders ... McD is better known now too, so should have firmer backing from heavy hitters ... as for property, Promontorio was quite an attraction when War Eagle had it, even back in the deep of the PMs bear, it's got old workings and the majority of it never touched, there may be a decent chance of open-pit operation ... there is a tech report on the website ... hey i just realised that to shorten the property name like i do with Temas, you get Promo ... that's perfect
Hard to say which of the mexican silver plays will do best, it's one of those unknowable things in advance ... only time and the drillbit and management competence levels will show us ... i don't think it's a particularly risky business, certainly not as risky as greenfield ventures elsewhere, when you've got an entire past-producing silver district ... at the same time, some of these outfits will screw up over time, some may get unlucky enough with the drillbit to peter out and/or get taken over, who knows ... but i think most will enjoy moderate success and just plug away at it, until silver heads north in a big way, and then we're all rich anyway ... if on the other hand metals tank and stay tanked, well then we're up chit creek, but with these tiny little silver paddles |
