I don't know much about EDR but I hope you do ok with it. Lot of people think sliver is going to outperform gold....I'm on the fence but have some GGC just in case<g>

Your comments on perceived country risk for EPM vs. EDR pretty much goes with the common view....and it is wrong, very wrong. I have the benefit of working in this area of the world for 18 months as it is very pro west, but not just that, they actively promote investment in their country and see it as a vehicle for improving their infrastructure. With the current socialist revolutions that have started to gain support in Latin America I would say the risk in Mexico has increased a fair amount in the last year.....but I still have 70% of my investments there.

Everyone is familar with Mexico so they feel safe there, nobody is familar with Kazakhstan so it is not safe.....big mistake I think.

My point is not really about the two stocks but more about the two countries and the way we think.....BWDIK? IJABOTB!
