Mpeg4 is still evolving.

Making TV industry changing their camera with multiscreen capability along with high contrast ratio. The talking heads have moving frame in a screen in front of stationary background which is another screen; and may have to be high lighted for the high contrast ratio displays.

Mpeg4 consists of video codecs with multiscreens, and audio codecs. Both can be mixed and matched in modified Mpeg4 data compression.

So, the industry had to have codecs downloaded when media format changes during the wait state. All set-top boxes have to increase memory size to accomodate the future Mpeg4 changes on the fly.
