We have very different takes on the psychology of this admin. I believe their mindset is such that any progress will be seen as a sign that force works and the path to success is even more force. I've few good things to say about this administration, but I don't see any reason to believe that the psychology is quite as rigid as you suggest. We'll see soon enough.
