BMC new release that started this - 110 feet of 5% nickel!!!!!! This sucker could really smoke over the next few days. RNG's ore runs .67% by contrast!! 3% nickel is bonanza grade. The big jewel Inco found a few years back Totten was only 2.6%? nickel. I think voisey bay is only 2.?% nickel.

Mr. Mike Sieb reports
BRILLIANT MINING CORP.: 4.69% NI OVER 33.3M; DRILLING SIGNIFICANTLY EXPANDS DEACON ZONE: LANFRANCHI NICKEL MINE, KAMBALDA DISTRICT OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA
Brilliant Mining Corp.'s continuing resource definition drill program continues to return excellent results from the Deacon zone at the Lanfranchi nickel mine, located in the Kambalda district of Western Australia. Since the company's news issued in Stockwatch on Jan. 22, 2007, results have been received from an additional 10 drill holes.
Key point summary:
new drill results include 33.3 metres at 4.69 per cent nickel, 33.95 metres at 4.15 per cent at nickel and 19.5 metres at 5.43 per cent nickel; high-grade massive sulphide intersections include 17.95 metres at 5.51 per cent nickel, 8.60 metres at 8.00 per cent nickel and 12.20 metres at 7.44 per cent nickel; Deacon zone is currently traced for over 250 metres down plunge, 100 metres wide and has an estimated true thickness of up to 30 metres; drilling provides further confidence that Deacon will significantly increase nickel resource inventory at Lanfranchi; and the Deacon mineralization remains open both up plunge and down plunge.
Since the Deacon mineralization was discovered in October, 2006, 23 additional drill holes totalling 3,422 metres have been completed. "Given the high nickel grades and the thickness of mineralization encountered at Deacon, each subsequent round of drilling has the potential to rapidly build resources and extend mine life at the Lanfranchi mine," states John Williamson, chief executive officer of Brilliant Mining Corp.
Upon completion of the current resource definition phase of drilling, the Lanfranchi joint venture (25 per cent Brilliant Mining) will perform a resource estimate, followed immediately by mine design and reserve calculation. The Deacon zone's close proximity to the current mining activity at the Helmut South orebody will facilitate an acceleration of its development and incorporation into the mine plan.

The drilling to date indicates that the Deacon mineralization occurs within a well-defined "channel" structure located immediately to the west of Helmut South. The channel appears to be oriented subparallel to the Helmut South orebody with the mineralization currently outlined over a strike length of 250 metres, a max width of 100 metres, an estimated true thickness of 30 metres and is still open both up and down plunge.
As well as targeting and successfully extending the limits of mineralization on drill sections 513860mN, 513810mN and 513760mN, the latest drill holes have also extended the Deacon zone a further 50 metres down plunge to Section 513710mN. Thick intersections of high grade nickel mineralization have now been intersected on all four drill sections, most notably in drill holes HS236 and HS244 on Section 513860mN, HS240 and HS245 on Section 513810mN, HS247 and HS253 on Section 513760mN, and HS256 on Section 513710mN. The best new intersections include 33.95 metres at 4.15 per cent nickel, 19.45 metres at 5.43 per cent nickel and 33.3 metres at 4.69 per cent nickel. High-grade matrix and massive sulphide mineralization within these three drill hole intersections include 17.95 metres at 5.51 per cent nickel, 8.60 metres at 8.00 per cent nickel and 12.20 metres at 7.44 per cent nickel respectively.
Lanfranchi joint venture
Brilliant Mining Corp. owns a 25-per-cent interest in the Lanfranchi joint venture, which owns the Lanfranchi nickel mine, together with associated infrastructure, mining leases and mineral claims. The remaining 75-per-cent interest in the Lanfranchi joint venture is owned by Sally Malay Mining Ltd.
The project is supervised by John Williamson, PGeo, of Edmonton, Alta., chief executive officer and a director of Brilliant, and is the qualified person as defined in National Instrument 43-101.
