Not really. Government services aren't equal everywhere. Those who have, for example, more to protect receive more protection from the government protection services such as defense and, say, the coast guard.
That's an interesting angle of view. The emphasis of Defense services is usually expressed as protecting freedom and democracy. I'll ponder your angle.
When ADM receives subsidies, ADM receives more of the benefit as do its shareholders, suppliers, employees, etc. It isn't even. In fact, if ADM receives subsidies for growing high fructose corn syrup masquerading as a plant, then most of us receive negative service while ADM's circle of friends receive positive benies.
Allegedly, the consumer benefits as well. Corn prices are lower, sugar is lower than they might be without the subsidies.
You and I probably receive the same negative benie for the bridge to nowhere but Ted Stevens is like a pig in jam. Charge him the $250 million.
And Alaskans love him for it.
You and I and Donald Trump get on the same airplane but brings along all of his assets and takes up all of business class and 1/2 of coach yet his ticket costs the same as yours. I'll bet that would make you very happy.
I would. He seems to travel with some fine looking assets. I can't touch them, but I still enjoy looking.
We're not going to see the 'perfect' system in our lifetimes but I wish we would start seeing things more clearly instead of through the thick fog of propaganda.
When the political parties stop producing one page papers with the title Talking Points we'll make some progress.
