Hi John,

I think Ford wiould optimally be an acquisition of Honda.

Honda builds great cars and do not have entries in full size trucks.

Honda could teach Ford, the intricacies of how to build a lean supply channel.

When it comes to global manufacturing - The best supply channel wins.

This is a lesson that the arrogant Big 3 have yet to learn.

It is the single most glaring deficiency they must overcome - after union and currency parity.

All three are huge obsticles and I hold out little hope for Chrysler or Fords indepedence.

GM might just ahve enough footholds in high growth emerging markets ,that it can survive depite itself.

IMO

Bob
