I just listened to the cc. The question of cash was asked and they made a note about working capital being increased by resolution of customer disputes. Mr. Z specifically named Flextronics. Mr. Currie got in an edgewised word and noted A/R, A/P and Inventory all being reduced. With the Sep/06 balance sheet saying ...

Accounts Receivable $2.8B
Inventory $1.8B
Accounts Payable $950M

... getting a few (or more) $100M chunks of cash out of there shouldn't have been all that difficult. I also liked the fact that their office space requirements are now down to 11m sqm (?) (from 31m). How much OpEx reduction would be generated there? The new cuts are targeting cutting G&A expenses in 1/2. They include "selling" in that income statement line so figuring out that impact is going to be a bit more fuzzy.

The heart of the matter is always in the details. You better get your kicks in before they become public.
