It suggests to me that Sirius is a bit misguided in their assessment of just who the competition is. And it isn't any longer XM, it is the Ipod, terrestrial, and others. Hell, XM isn't even TRYING to market against Sirius, instead choosing to just let SIRI burn itself out and run out of cash (which it is doing at a fairly rapid pace).

That sounds like someone that doesn't have too much experience in the investment world. There is nothing good about your compeditor burning itself out and running out of cash. After all, at the end of the day. They will still be in business with a fresh lease on life and a bundle of cash to start all over again.

It's not like they are going to disappear or anything. Just the shareholders will disappear. And with it will be the value of XM's shareholders also. Nothing appealing about owning stock in a company when you only compeditor in the segment will be debt free in a couple of months.
