<fervently clinging to your ideology> The proposition that climate change is based on some sort of 'left wing ideology' is lunacy in my view. I say that because I have been following the science for 20 years. For 20 years thousands of scientists around the world have researched the causes and dynamics of global climate change. They refused to become involved in policy debates much less in ideological baloney because they wanted to focus solely on the science -- and that is what they have done for twenty years. Now they are at the point of near certainty on many of the key issues. Where they differ is in just how fast the ice sheets will disintegrate and how fast sea levels will rise as a result. But on the core issue of climate change and human activity the scientific debate is over.

Now there is a new debate. What is now happening is that a handful of ideological nutjobs who know nothing about the subject see it as a threat because they have invested so much in denying that manmade global climate change is real. The only answer for those people is to make false and ignorant statements and ideological attacks to convince others that climate change is just left wing ideology. Ban me if you like -- don't let me stand in the way of a bunch of know-nothing ideological nutjobs who want to spread confusion about issues of which they are totally ignorant. You want a form for ignoramus bashing of 'liberals'? You want a forum to provide a platform for people making excuses for their own stupid inability to recognize the scope and scale of this issue? Go for it -- you are already pretty much there.
