Talisman's stock was discounted in the market (especially in US markets) because of their involvement in Sudan. They were actually subject to some sort of trade restrictions but I never looked deeply into the matter. That JP Morgan article should describe that market situation. After they sold out to the Chinese, Talisman stock popped.

I see the MTN Group also trades in Germany (and Pink Sheets !!). The stock is about to breakout. I should of paid more attention to Lyn's post of last spring. Oh well, I was busy working elsewhere, at that time. Good Luck. It looks like the 2nd leg of your ride is starting to roll.

Nortel also seems to be betting some of its future on servicing the Middle East and Africa. Are most ME&A projects financed through Germany?
