The car design for fuel economy has been changed by Lincoln 5th gear 1:1 ratio for coasting on inertia.

Ford has made some mistake by Bill Ford on technology that they can not market. Now the downsizing talk is foolish. Fuel economy will change that perception. Revitalize the brand recognition of Taurus, Thunderbird and Escort will quickly turn Ford around especially with their rear wheel driven cars.

We will be looking at the Washington birthday Ford advertizing drives, to return to profitability sooner than the new management hoped for. Cars this year maybe too large especially the truck height. But cheap mechanical one way slip clutch may revive the whole industry, except Ford knows how much coasting saves gas, by their data on Lincolns.

We will be adding our Ford investment, if projection gets over 16.5 million cars and trucks to be sold this model year.
