Hi Piper,

Your probably right about the value of the number of posts but it is an interesting indicator of sentiment. It probably would be a more useful measure if it was calculated on a monthly basis. Then, one could correlate the absolute value of the stock price movement with the number of posts. I suspect that might be pretty high. Ideally though, one would want to weight each post by some sort of bull/bear indicator and, with a small lag, correlate it with the +/- change in market cap.

Although, he speaks of hard, B+W facts, Orion seems more like someone who would appreciate such a timely qualitative measure. Btw, it took me 5 minutes or so to get those numbers and type that post. A update from Lifetime is well worth a bottle of bubbly.

It seems that one can't talk about much around here without getting into trouble. I get into an innocent enough discussion with Orion about financials and he desires to twist the company's words and rehash old news as if it happened yesterday. That is what led me to investigate his prior SI posts. I found that time very well spent. I guess tom, you and others(?) didn't.

It's a pity that stream resulted in Orion choosing to depart the thread instead of working towards the clarification of the details around the good, the bad and the ugly. It's also a pity that no one who had previously listened to the Feb 7th conference call didn't jumped in and pass along to Orion the words of the company as to the source of the extra cash. Oh well, maybe others had a better idea where that matter was heading and/or this thread is dead.

The good side of that affair is that a few more lurkers have been discovered. My approach to the game may be different than others on SI. I'm more into sharing facts than fronting the spread of FUD. Although, that's a subjective matter, isn't it. Anyway, I guarantee you I'm not here to entertain you nor to deter anyone's desire to post.

As I've got some bookkeeping to do, I'll now join the quiet crowd. Hopefully, more valued posts will appear once the company releases its 2006 financials.

Welcome, my apologizes to the thread for boring them ...
