The Mongolians sound confused. The act as if they are a government in the business of resource extraction, but they forget they do not have the cash or the expertise to develop. The only source of funds for them are the Chinese.

I feel sorry for Ivanhoe and Rio and the other miners in Mongolia. They are going to be sacrificial lambs on the altar of greed. This is classic governmental theft. It has nearly happened in Canada, it happened in Sk with Potash, and Uranium. It happened in Chile many moons ago. It has happened in different ways in other countries. It is an old story, going back to Germany in the 1500's. Always the investor in private enterprise gets ripped off.

The did it to Harry Oakes too. Taxed him to death.

Sad.

It teaches a lesson.
