As for religion pushers, a friend of mine was feeling a bit bored one day when a pair of Jehovah's Witnesses knocked at his door. He asked them in to hear what they had to say.

After politely listening to them for about fifteen minutes, he stopped them and said, with his voice steadily rising, "Wait a minute. Let me see if I've got this right. You're saying that if I renounce and abstain from all pleasures of the flesh for the rest of my life, there is an outside chance that I'll get to spend the REST OF ETERNITY WITH A BUNCH OF JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES? THAT'S YOUR SALES PITCH? GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE."
