Well, the fact is that GM and Ford own all these ailing car companies around the world that to keep them alive, they have to let all of them eat into domestic market. The ownership is so large that no one except governments can buy Ford's or GM's ownership of foreign car manufacturers? GM and Ford are no longer rich. The pain is self inflicted. But we as stockholders can change all that, by advicing GM and Ford to limit the imports for their own survival.
